Highly recommended, great service

Nice atmosphere, but the restaurant is now on the ground floor. Quite annoying that they've maintained the old name, despite the fact that it's a complete different setting. The chef has also changed. Misleading. I guess the owner could not resist the temptation, since the old place was quite popular, but hey...this is an entirely different restaurant and should have a different name. Ambience is elegant and nice, good place to talk. Food is so and so. Like Tim Raue's Soupe Populaire, some odd and questionable combinations of ingredients on top of traditional recipes, but nothing impressive really.

Creative delicious food and excellent wines in a great atmosphere and super nice service. Prices a bit higher, but ok.

Food is quite nice, but the service should be a bit more friendly. I had arrived with a friend 5 minutes after 14:00 in a totally empty restaurant and the waiter instead of letting us sit and have lunch he refused to serve us. I mean was empty the whole place and he kept telling us that he can’t serve food 👎🏽. Is this the way to keep clients? I don’t think so!

Horrible experience. We arrived abit late on a Friday. They made sure to close early, leaving us without desserts, chasing us out after 45 minutes(we where a group of 7). The fish was under cooked, we asked to get a new one, they came back with the same fish and made us pay for it because some peps at the table tried it. Distasteful. AVOID!

Great surroundings and superb food... Potato soup, pumpkin and lentil soup, gnocchi, Königsberg meatballs, herring, rotte künste, espresso, Riesling all totally delicious... Highly recommended

Beautifull place with surprising dishes. The service was superfriendly. I was in doubt of taking the black pudding. When i finally decided to take an other dish, they brought us a small plate to taste. 😃

We came on recommendation and loved it. Cool location, competent, super nice and attentive service. Zander fillet and wasabi with pearl barley and heaven and earth were a poem !!! The preparation of the dishes were 1a. Delicious wine rounded our evening and the waitress understands her job. Always my pleasure!

The meals are tasteful but the waiter does not understand me when I spoke German neither English. The table was booked over the phone and when we arrived they have no table reserved at our name... Room for improvement

Super delicious food - always fresh ingredients and changing menu, which always offers a surprise. Great atmosphere and rooms and great service with the best recommendations. I go there almost every week either for lunch or dinner and always like to come back. Great prices for what you get offered! I would highly recommend to anyone!

What a find! A hidden gem in an 1896 building that survived the war. The beer making owners show case their beer. The food is prepared by a chef, interesting, fresh ingredients and tasty.

Local within a historic courtyard, high ceiling and fairly well-kept furnishings. Menu with a few courses, little wine list will provide. For Italian palates it is not the top, however you eat well. Attentive waiters and welcoming place. Prices a little high for the service. Natural cream water from 0.75 € 6.50, in my opinion exaggerated.

Has often been there with friends and has never been disappointed! Really great atmosphere with courteous and nice service, very delicious cocktails that were created with attention to detail. To come down and relax after work perfectly. Always my pleasure!

Fresh and tasty food in a fantastic atmosphere. We had appetizer, main course and dessert. For veal schnitzel there was perfect lukewarm potato salad and separately a special cucumber salad with sesame and ginger. Never had such a thing. Dessert really well taken acid / sweetness ratio. There was nothing to add to all the dishes, they were very fresh. Service was sympathetic and good. There was nothing to criticize here. Gladly again.

A terrible evening! We booked a table for 13 people. Although the place was completely empty, almost nothing worked. Already at the aperitif order came 15 instead of 13 aperitifs .... at the table, without asking, 8 water bottles were set, which were tried to charge, although only 5 were consumed ..... extremely shocking was the fact that we were Restaurant booked by Tim Raue, who left the restaurant in January .... As an appetizer, we ordered 1 kg of prawns, got in the best case 650 grams delivered .... 2 more appetizers contained also a piece of plastic and a hair (cooks do not wear headgear) ..... the main courses were just as disappointing: the Flank steak was barely edible, the burger partly cold and generally questionable in the whole ...... the entire process devoured over 3 hours .... Complaints were not heard by the restaurant management, ultimately we were still referred to as difficult customers and went with a high total bill disappointed home! No recommendation from us, just disappointing and more than a pity!

For a long time again a restaurant that you absolutely can not recommend. Incompetent staff, from the chef to the barman. Maybe both should visit a workshop on conflict management. Should that read the management I would ask you that you might train your staff exactly in such situations. For questions about the conflict I am at your disposal!

Good ambiance industrial appearance definitely has added value! The friendly host has given a tour.With 4 people delicious eaten shame that it is not so busy probably do they know they are not good yet?

Arrived about 2pm, we were given menus and our drink order was taken. About 10 minutes later the server comes back and takes our menu saying lunch is closed and they were no longer serving food until dinner. If you knew you were about to end lunch why give us food menus and waste our time? Poor service and would recommend avoiding.

Lovely food in a beautiful hidden place

Food Fantastic. Unfortunately, the coffee machine was broken and we did not get any espresso. That should not happen in such a restaurant.

It is a more upscale eatery, the food is very fresh and very delicate. I was invited to dinner here because a friend of mine had a birthday. Starters are at 8-12 € main courses at about 16 - 24 €. You should if you are here in the vicinity on a nightcap. Get dressed sensibly, you'll fall for it. Both waiters and the chef have taken care of us for our well-being. It was a really great evening. The ambience is an eye-catcher I will definitely come here again. 4 good stars from me.

We were three on a Friday night and had a fabulous time. The ambience is lovely and not at all loud and the meals were beautiful and delicious. I had the blood sausage because I thought I should order something different and I did not regret it. The sausage didn't taste like sausage (to me that's a good thing!) It was dry and crispy and delicious. The mashed potatoes, grilled onions, sauce and even the mustard forned an exquisite taste sensation with it. My friends had the burgers and also raved. We had a delicious wine from Austria. The waiters were attentive. It wasn't too expensive. The meals were filling. We shared a creative dessert with black ride that was also a delightful taste sensation. We were thoroughly satisfied.

Shittiest restaurant ever. Showed up with a booking. They didn't have a table for us but didn't tell us. So we ordered drinks. It took the barman 30 minutes to make the most underwhelming drinks ever. We waited 45 minutes... Nothing... We confronted them.. they acted like it was normal even though the restaurant was half empty. We dropped money on the bar and left. Never seen this before...

The location of the place could have never been more charming and artistic. The entrance, the artwork, the tables...super to say the least. Food expectations starts to increase until you get the starter. Had the egg, waitress noticed a foreigner so immediately shot the best sellers. Did not even bother to explain what is in. First bad experience, when the egg arrived, it came with caviar, meshed, cabbage...all taste blends into the cabbage one, which was over sweetened. The challenge was with meat balls, flavorless to say the least. Babbage accompanying that came cold and supper sweet. You can have much better, richer, tastier German food at any garden here in Berlin. Moreover, the don't even have draft beer and the place is done in an old beer factory. Go, take pictures and prevent the food.

The food was way too much salty and the portion was ridiculously small. I was there for lunch menü, and ordered the potato soup, salad and gulasch. I felt like I had nothing but salt and strongly-flavoured not tasty sauce.The beef cubes of the gulasch was too small and little that it looked like they're swimming in sauce pool. The only comfort that day was that the restaurant has at least interesting atmosphere.

An excellent place to feel Berlin in a former Industry Complex with a great and affordable Cuisine.

Unique industrial space a breath away from the heart of Berlin! I didn't have the chance to eat, but the exhibition from Neo Rauch was something special. We went out of the working hours of the restaurant and it was open to the public! The feel from the outside of the Old factory of Brewery is also unique..

The place is very nice, the food can be said to have technique, but the service responsible , including the head of room , I think it is harmful , no words to direct a local cuisine and well . lack education , kindness and details. never again .

Really worth a visit. Food is great, and the ambiance is amazing. Eating good food in a fancy restaurant in a worn down old concrete building ist so Berlin.

Overpriced for the quality and the experience. The space is quite cool but a little bit too artificial. The area with the tables is a little bit too narrow and with no windows, the feeling is a little bit depressing actually. The biggest discomfort thought was the silver silverware. I could not get rid of the metallic aftertaste for several hours.

The ambiance of the place is quite impressive. Located in an old beer brewery, the restaurant is located in an old industrial setting. With simple furniture, vintage china and the combination with contemporary art the restaurant felt exciting and ambitious. The waiting service was pleasant, with a friendly and professional stance. However, the food was really mediocre. We expected way more – both in terms of quality and quantity – also knowing the kitchen is led by the allegedly famous chef Tim Raue. The portions are way too small, lacked taste and color, and are therefore slightly overpriced. We did not experience the ‘culinary art’ at all that was supposedly behind the menu. I would not particularly recommend this restaurant.
